If you are having trouble logging into HMIS because you have forgotten your password please follow the steps to reset your password below:
- Click the 'Forgot Password' link found on the login screen.
- Enter your username and click 'submit'
- Check your email inbox of the email address on file for your HMIS credentials
- If you do not see the email from ServicePoint in your main inbox check your Spam/Junk folder to make sure it wasnt redirected.
- Once you have opened the email, follow the instructions to reset your password. (click the provided link inside the email to start the process)
- You will be prompted to choose a password and enter it twice. Make sure you follow the password creation guidelines for strength and security.
- Log-In.
If for some reason you cannot login there may be some other factors preventing you to login which may require a help desk ticket. Reasons include
- You did not complete your yearly ethics refresher training or did not receive a passing score on your ethics refresher training and need to retake it.
- If you are a new user, your username and password may not have been created by your Agency Admin as of yet. (Please check with your Agency Admin to make sure your account has been created)
- You are no longer employed by your agency and your access has been removed. If this was done in mistake please contact your Agency Admin.
Things to help you in the future are:
- Make sure you keep your contact information within HMIS up to date with your most recent email and telephone number.
- Do NOT save your HMIS password in your browser to autofill.
- Make sure to check for any emails from ECHO staff regarding Ethics Refresher Training and updates to the HMIS System.
